Allotments
Alderton Parish Council manages a number of allotment plots available for rent by residents of the parish. Our allotments provide a wonderful opportunity to grow your own fruit, vegetables and flowers, enjoy the outdoors, and become part of a friendly community of growers.

Plot Sizes and Rental
Plots plot sizes: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large
The annual rental charge is £20-£55 and is reviewed by the Parish Council each year. The rental year runs from 29th September.
Who Can Apply?
Allotment plots are available to local residents of Alderton parish and surrounding areas.
How to Apply
To apply for an allotment plot, or to join the waiting list, please contact the Parish Clerk:

Rules and Responsibilities
All plot holders are asked to sign an annual tenancy agreement and to abide by the council’s Allotment Rules. Key responsibilities include:
- Keeping your plot cultivated and reasonably free from weeds
- Not causing a nuisance or obstruction to neighbouring plot holders
- Using the allotment only for the growing of fruit, vegetables, flowers and plants for personal use — not for commercial purposes
- Keeping communal paths and areas clear and tidy
- Not erecting permanent structures without prior permission from the Parish Council
- Disposing of waste responsibly

Alderton Parish Council is committed to maintaining the allotment site to a good standard. If you have a concern about the site, a maintenance issue to report, or a suggestion for improvement, please contact the Parish Clerk at clerk@aldertonparishcouncil.gov.uk.
